Robert Couture
East
Adams Rural Hospital and District Clinics would like to introduce Robert
Couture, our highlighted employee this week.
Robert Couture is an EMT, for Lind, at East Adams Rural Hospital. His
responsibilities include caring for and transporting patients on the
ambulance and assisting the hospital staff when needed in the emergency
room. He has worked at EARH since August 2007.
Robert was born in Seattle and grew up in Snohomish County. He and his wife
Anna moved to Lind in April 2006 because when they lived in Tonasket, it was
too far to go to church and too far from medical services. Robert has four
siblings, three living and one deceased. He and his wife have nine
children, eight living and one child deceased.
Robert decided to go into healthcare because of the opportunity to help his
community. The best thing about his job is knowing that he may have either
saved somebody’s life, or helped them through a difficult time.
Robert’s goal is to be there when someone needs help either physically or
spiritually. His greatest accomplishment is graduating from Trinity College
of the Bible and becoming a certified EMT.
Outside of work, Robert is involved with the Lind Community Church and is a
Chairman of the Samammish Valley Pioneers Association. His hobbies include
reading and studying the bible. |
